Discover the magic of dog sledding on this immersive full-day tour with Elevation Sled Dogs—where you’ll explore the historic Dawson Overland Trail alongside experienced mushers and an athletic team of Alaskan huskies. Unlike traditional tours, this experience is fully guide-assisted, meaning your professional guide rides on the secondary handlebar behind you, offering real-time coaching, support, and conversation throughout the journey.

Guests may drive themselves to our location or choose to use our shuttle service from Whitehorse for $60 per person. Upon arrival at the trailhead, you’ll meet your friendly and enthusiastic sled dogs before receiving hands-on instruction on how to harness, handle, and drive your sled. Each team is shared by two guests, with one standing to mush and the other seated comfortably in the sled. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to switch roles, ensuring both adventure and relaxation as you travel through pristine Yukon wilderness.

Midway through the day, we’ll stop for a cozy campout lunch beside an open fire—complete with smokies and warm drinks—giving you time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, connect with your dogs, and soak up the vast northern landscape.

By the end of the tour, you’ll come away with new skills, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible partnership between mushers and their dogs.

• Minimum age: 15 years
• Must be in good physical condition
• Not suitable for individuals with physical disabilities or mobility limitations

No prior dog sledding experience needed—just a love for adventure and dogs!

• Pickup Time: 8:30 AM
• Tour Time: 9:30 AM* – 5:00 PM (7.5hrs)
  *Self drive arrival by 10AM
• Return to Whitehorse: ~5:00 PM
