Our STory

Yukon Wide Adventures started with a simple idea: share the Yukon the way locals experience it, not the way a brochure describes it. What began as small guided river trips has grown into a year-round outfit offering rivers, aurora viewing, dog sledding, and more — but the goal hasn't changed. We want every guest to leave with a real sense of this place: wild, remote, and genuinely unforgettable.

Today, our team combines decades of collective experience on Yukon rivers, trails, and winter landscapes. Whatever the season, whatever the adventure, we're out there with you — not just pointing the way.

Aaron

Aaron Peck grew up paddling rivers across Canada and racing 1,000 miles through Alaska in the Iditarod. He and his wife Eva now raise their four kids in the Yukon, exploring the outdoors by canoe, dog team, or anything that doesn’t need charging.

Liam

Liam grew up paddling near Vancouver Island but fell for Yukon rivers. A seasoned guide who speaks English and French, he’s done it all --except bear wrestling (they won’t sign the waiver). His skills and love for adventure make every trip memorable.

Olek

Olek, a French-speaking outdoorsman of Ukrainian descent, brings bush smarts and trail tricks to every trip. With a knack for turning wilderness into adventure, he makes every journey feel like a story worth retelling, sometimes in two languages.

Craig

Craig is an experienced globetrotter. Formerly a scuba diving guide, he later found a deep connection with the wilderness and transitioned into canoe guiding — leading trips through wild lakes and rivers, sharing his passion for nature and adventure.

Led By Aaron Peck

A 10-time Iditarod musher with a lifetime of sled dog and wilderness experience, our adventures are shaped by a genuine love of the outdoors — from travelling behind a team of sled dogs to paddling the Yukon’s remote rivers and waterways. For Aaron, paddling has always been one of the most rewarding ways to experience the North: moving at the pace of the river, exploring places few people ever reach, and becoming immersed in the landscape.
